Facebook tip: 1-click to invite all friends to group, page or event

Filed under Tips

Do you have a facebook page, group or event? If yes… im sure at one time or another you’ve wondered how to invite all your friends with just 1 click instead of having to select them all individually… the thought of  doing that can be quite horrific especially when you have thousands of friends to invite. wonder why facebook didnt just create a “select all” button for the invitations.

well i was wondering the same and i set out to look for a solution. I have a favourite quote “Google is your friend”… and YES Google didnt let me down on this quest. Found a little script that does the magic!

Here’s how it works:

Open the page, group or event invitation window and instead of clicking individual thumbnails of your friends… insert the following code in the address bar:…

javascript:elms=document.getElementById('friends').getElementsByTagName('li');for(var fid in elms){if(typeof elms[fid] === 'object'){fs.click(elms[fid]);}}"

…(without the quotes of course)..and press enter!

wow!… it works all contacts selected :)

Now CLICK INVITE!

Meanwhile you can suggest the 2digits facebook page to your friends that way in just one easy click :)

    i must commend the effort of 2digits but i cant help not noting some things in their web design, firstly i must confess that they have a way with flash animations that makes their websites very attractive and cool, still yet their developers must note that flash animations are not the “all in all” . Task that can easily be carried out with CSS shouldn’t be replaced flash as it slows down the overall output even though the effect may be minute. Take for example the navigation menu on ur website u used flash when it can easily be achieved with CSS…..and some other effect u use on most of you web design as well….i suggest your developers should start acquainting thereselves with CSS web design if not already …thumbs up to ur guys like i said ur use of flash is examplary, coming from 9ja guys

    Hello Gale, you got us all red cheeked :) thnx. As for the flash vs css… Well I say flash isn’t such a bad guy afterall if properly optimized + its tidy to impliment and d new direction flash player is heading I’m sure itd win over sum more hearts. Tht takes nothing away from css tho. They have well balanced pros n cons so it really boils down to preference. Once again… Thank you.
